Rosette shaped plants, with green through to purple leaves. It is one of the most popular of all air plants because of its colourful flower that can be 5cm in length, shocking pink, and purple! From noticing the bud, to flowering can be a quick as three weeks, but once the plant has flowered, the grower can expect plenty of ‘pups’ that quickly grow into adults, which will bloom in about 8 – 12 months after that. Although impressive when grown as a clump of plants, these are smaller than if the plants were to be grown separately. Adaptable and easy to grow, it is one of the best, and a beautiful addition to any collection.
